Hmmm. I'm on the fence about it. I sew children's clothes for a living, so I sew all day, every day. I needed something to help with filing. I used a piece of cardboard with measurements on it to help me line it but over time it got messed up. I wanted something stronger. With this product you can get a nice edge in the size you want. However, I'm not sure about the felt material it's made of. The good thing is that the fabric doesn't move, so you get the right crease. BUT, because it holds the fabric, it takes an extra second to lift the hemmer to the side instead of moving it quickly. I know it sounds petty, but when you're hemming LOTS of dresses at once, every second can add up. I also wish it was a little bigger. Stars.
