Bought to transport semi-feral cats to the vet. It's canvas and mesh. Durable and safe, breathable and ventilated from all sides. It has a zip closure and a door at the top. Need a zip to get the cats down, no struggle to get them through the door. It worked well. Vented sides are desirable in the event the cat is unmanageable and the vet must attempt to inject through the mesh. Very spacious, almost too big for most cats, but they have enough space to stand or sit, move around or lie down. You can easily accommodate 2 cats in it if you have pets that get along well together. The handle is a must, otherwise you wouldn't be able to wear it. Has poles that can be pulled to keep the wearer stable. Comes with a thin floor mat, which could be better, but it's enough (there is a piece of Thinsulate in the mat). I cover it with a beach towel when transporting cats to make them feel safer and more protected in inclement weather. All in all a very good buy.
