Review on 📷 eufy Security Solo IndoorCam C24: 2K Wi-Fi Indoor Camera with AI, Night Vision & Two-Way Audio by Phil Kuebler

I bought this because it supports HomeKit Secure Video and that should mean I don't have to worry as much about device security. More than an hour online (HSV included). I see the device is using a DNS server in China instead of what I set for my network. This means that the device does not honor the settings provided by DHCP on your network. There is NO reason why this camera needs to override my network settings. Might block this in my firewall or just bring it back as I'm very skeptical of Eufy now. The support team responded very quickly and replied to me telling me that my review was "documented". I'm willing to wait with that and check future firmware updates for a fix. Edit 2: Still unimpressed after a few months. They are randomly disconnected from HomeKit and need to be removed and then added back. Each automation must be recreated.
