weeks. The monitor I used it with still works, but not with this particular cable. I bought another of the same brand, straight out of the box, it didn't work. I have looked for another brand and will not buy again. Faces a dilemma. I have a monitor that I like but can't use because it only has a VGA or HDMI connector and my dock only has a VGA and Displayport connector. I already had another monitor that used the VGA port on the docking station. This cable was the solution. The picture quality seems so sharp and clear. This is a great product. I have purchased other cables from this company and they are all durable and made of heavy duty material. I highly recommend.
