Incredible flashlight for $25

If you told someone you paid $60 or more for it, they would believe you. The thing is frankly superb - especially for the price AND with a USB-C charger AND its own battery. A quick note on a battery that the first reviewer didn't examine - THE REASON THE 18650 is a little longer than "regular" 18650s is because it's a PCB protected battery. This helps protect the wet cell from over- and under-discharging. That's GOOD, and YES, you can buy another one of these if you need a spare. You just need a 18650 cell with PCB protection, apparently with a button on top. The overall feel and quality had me wondering how this sells for only $25 on sale. I especially like the beveled edge on the front. The belt clip is really strong and will not "bend" with reasonable effort. And it doesn't just appear once you click on it. It has a charge indicator opposite the charge port that flashes red/green to let you know the battery status when used for a few seconds. The switch on the back seems really nice too, as does the strap/wrist strap that comes with it. There really isn't anything bad to say about him. It has 4 brightness settings, the highest of which is really impressive for its size. There's no zoom or focus lens, which I honestly like. With that you don't need it. The strobe lights up very brightly and switches between fast and very fast mode. It's blindingly bright. The SOS function is on a low level - I guess to save working hours. Just note that you don't give the switch a full "click" to toggle the settings. With just a light press you can navigate through the settings. 2 quick presses for strobe, 3 quick presses for SOS. Go from Eco mode to full brightness with a single flick of the switch (not a full flick) to toggle between these settings. The rubber cover on the charging port feels tight and comfortable. Not too tight like some of the other things I have. I have no intention of throwing this in the water just to see what happens, but something like rain doesn't seem to have any effect. Everything seems adequately sealed - and there are 2 extra O-rings in the box. I got mine early today and I honestly feel like I got more than my money's worth. I wouldn't hesitate if you're considering this. In my opinion there is little more to ask for, especially in this price range. Much better than my old (and smaller) Fenix model which I probably paid more for. Try looking around for a small flashlight with a USB-C charger and you'll see what other options you have. It's the best value for money and I suspect it's a newer version of similar Wuben models as the nicer design and newer Type-C charger are also included. (cable, not brick). Just a quick update - I went back and bought another one because I think it's just impossible to find a better light at this price point. I carry my original in my work backpack every day as a flashlight, "in case I ever need a flashlight". The second one I just bought comes in a molle pouch on my SHTF combat belt, along with a pistol holster, mag pouches, first aid kit, pepper spray, knife, etc. It's the perfect size for a closed pistol magazine or a Molle tool pouch. Lithium batteries last over a year and this flashlight is very well made. The USB-C charger promises that there will be affordable chargers for a long time to come. I can only say good things about them. Don't hesitate to buy.
