I've had the Cucina Pro electric frying pan long enough to cook about a dozen meals in it. I've cooked chicken, fish, hamburgers, including egg rolls. I like the even temperature and the fact that it doesn't come back to heat with a blast. If stored at normal temperature, it will become perfect. Never overheat. Preheating only takes a minute or two. If it's too hot, the food will stick to the surface. I love making gravies and gravies so I'm not too concerned about deglazing the pan, you can make a wonderful gravy. I even add some devitrification water to clean it. After cleaning I wipe it down with a drop of olive oil and it looks beautiful. The handles never get hot and neither does the lid. I was pleased to read that this was the frying pan used at Publix. I have watched the dishes prepared in this skillet and always admired it when I shopped. That sold me. I replaced the regular teflon coated pan and was so glad I did. It costs the extra money and stainless steel is a much healthier finish.
