Review on 🎧 Leitner LH270 – Wireless Office Headset with Microphone for Telephone and Computer – Compatible with Avaya, Yealink, Cisco, VoIP and Majority of Desk Phones and PC’s (USB and Phone Jack) by Patrick Diaz

I bought (2) units - the Leitner LH270 socket is a nice square shape - fits on the table and won't be removed from the table by the cords! Setup was easy: plug in the power cord (charge the headset for 4 hours), plug the USB cable into the computer, plug the phone cord into the headset jack on the Polycom phone box. All buttons for phone compatibility, microphone volume, etc. are located on the bottom (left in position 1 by default). There is enough space on the back for connecting cables. If you hear 2 beeps when you turn on the headset - the headset is not synced to the base - this is a common problem with all these wireless devices - when I get this problem with Plantronics devices - I just throw them away - they never connect ! With Leitner this is not a problem - remove the small cover from the earpiece - remove the battery for 30 seconds, disconnect the power from the base, switch the base back on, reinsert the battery - replace the cover back on. Now press and hold the mute button on the headset until it starts flashing, now press and hold the phone button on the base until it starts flashing - the flashing will stop - plug the headset into the base and you'll be reconnected! There are two mode buttons - PC and phone - and you have the option to combine a phone call with an online meeting on ZOOM or SKYPE! There's also an auto-on feature - as soon as you remove the headset from the docking station, the headset turns on. With the optional remote handset lifter cable, you can answer calls from your headset without being directly at your desk. This is a great feature when employees can't return to their desk to answer a call. Headset is very comfortable - fits well, doesn't feel cheap - great mic - includes a small foam hoodie for the mic if you're working in noisy environments. It seems to shake off a lot of office chatter - just a good headset and the company has plenty of how-to videos online for various setups that you can browse or just call with any questions! They are ready to put you to work! They even offer to give me a first call to test a new headset. Now that I have these units installed in 2 offices I am sure I will be purchasing more units for all the remaining offices!
