It works better than expected
I was expecting some slippage between the two clamps when installing this product but it didn't happen. Putting the Ram X-Grip holder together with two long arms gives a very strong base, even on the roughest roads the hand could not slip while the iPhone XS max is a heavy shell. Simply tighten the balls, no large torque required.
