I have a 12 year old Maine Coon mix. The first time I put it in her food, she swallowed it. She weighs 20 pounds so I gave her 1 scoop in the morning and then worked her up to 1 scoop twice a day. She has a sensitive stomach and as soon as I gave her two scoops she started having diarrhea. I tried to cut down to one portion but now she smells and refuses to eat. I'm sorry it didn't work out but I'm glad I can return it for a refund. The search for a vitamin supplement that she tolerates continues. I gave her Nupro but it makes her poop stink to high heaven.
