I have a 28 lb lab dog mix. It is difficult to buy her, she is about knee high, thin and long but with a big neck. The large size fit her perfectly, with enough room to walk, the material is not stretchy but very good quality. Easy to put on as my dog is used to wearing a coat. It is inconvenient to zip up, but this can be done while the dog is standing. The refills did not come with a detachable sweatshirt but they can easily be zipped up just like the picture shows. The other dog in the background weighs 26 pounds and also the knee height (Schnauzer/German Shepherd mix) did not match the plus size, had to be returned. His neck and chest are much wider. I recommend sizing up larger than usual as it is small and doesn't stretch.
