I got the black ones for my kitchen island. I got the 29" bar height rather than the 24" counter height. The taller ones are still great for sitting at the kitchen island and eating or working on a laptop. I got the black ones. (One set of two).Pros1. Look great. Just what I wanted. I bought on impulse because of the price, and I am glad I did.2. Actual solid wood with heavy gauge wood bolts and dowels. (I added glue to dowels).2. Sturdy.3. Price. Awesome deal. I got them on Special for around 50 bucks.4. Good height.5. Everything you need in the box. Including tool, hole plugs and felt for bottom of chairs.Cons1. Finish is good, but not great. Some minor imperfections. Not a big deal.2. Metal cover where someone might rest their feet. Thoughtful touch. But they are glued on and one already came off.I am very happy with these. Not pressboard or manufactured wood like many in this price range. SOlid wood, simple design and look great.
