I bought this monitor because it meets all the necessary criteria. high refresh rate, 1440p resolution, 27 inch size and fast response time. It runs at 165Hz with no issues (although the built-in frame counter is ridiculous, it just shows a big "165" in the corner of the screen, regardless of the actual frame rate.) The real issue is color accuracy and response time. With Overdrive and VRB modes enabled, one enabled without the other, or neither enabled, these monitors are still a chaotic mess. This panel has some of the most ghosting I've seen where moving object trails are almost INCHES long. It's actually disgusting. Forget trying to read moving text with this thing. In terms of color accuracy, this VA panel is poor at best, which is what I was expecting. It's a lot brighter than any IPS panel I've had and my panel is free of bright areas, which is good. I wish I could go back
