I suddenly couldn't get more than 20mpg. Tried cleaning the mass air flow sensor. There are no dice. Prius has 230,000 miles, didn't want to throw away a lot of money. So I tried! I'm glad I did. MPG restored. I also threw codes for about an hour but ended up resetting them. Just always disconnect the battery. TO UPDATE! Well the mileage was soon in hell again so I noticed a big shift in MPG after driving at highway speeds for about 10 minutes so I'm replacing the top O2 sensor now. It took a lot of research, but I'm pretty sure this is it.
