I bought 3 packs for Christmas - white, soft white and multi. Each pack contains 4 strings. I have used them in various places around the house as well as on the front door (which is protected by a porch). Soft white looks great on the mantel; the white goes with the piano. Multi goes well with a small Christmas tree. They were easy to install - very flexible. I also really like the options for constant and different flashing modes. The remotes worked well - just make sure you're pointing the remote at the batteries and not the lights. I left the light on all the time, one set of batteries (3 AA per string) lasted about 2 weeks. If you turn them off at the end of the night, they'll last a lot longer. I dropped her a few days ago. It was easy and everything went back in the original packaging (very compact) with no problems. I am very happy with my purchase and looking forward to my upcoming birthday.
