Don't buy 3K, buy it 5K!
I used the full metal version of the same size over 10 years ago and enjoyed using it for years until the rubber rings fell off. The price is worth it! I recently had a 3K and the legs could be removed while mounted on a lamp post π±. Luckily I kept the M50 with the L lenses attached. I found this to be a common problem and the warranty doesn't help as that plastic bezel keeps tearing. I have this 5K and I made a cut on the socket to finally make sure it's metal although the balls are plastic. Believe me it will still hold up.
