This winch is junk for anything over about 400lbs.
The winch claims 620lbs but the clip that is supposed to catch will not hold once the weight is just about 400lbs. I am going to have to buy a new winch that claims 800lbs and hope that the catch is stronger with better teeth on the small gear.
Pros
- Using it for a 100lb heavy bag in the garage. Can't speak to it's alleged 600lb capacity.
Cons
- Weight may be a hindrance for some users, making it difficult to transport
