UPDATED REVIEW It actually sticks to the shower wall and stays on.

UPDATE: Having owned this shower stall for a year I am pleased to report that it has not once fallen off my shower walls. The suction cups were glued on all the time. The bad news is that after a year the plastic teeth on the side of the shower stall started to crack. Then the teeth on the suction cup (which carry the carriage) began to crack. Now I remove the shower stall after every shower and dry it off, so I'm training it versus someone who can leave it alone. But I think it's actually my fault. I sprayed the shower stall with "Tilex With Bleach" a couple of times to remove some mildew and mildew. I think the bleach has weakened the plastic. So I bought a second cart and this time I'm going to wash it with old fashioned soap and hot water when it gets moldy. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I can't believe this is actually sticking to my shower wall. We recently remodeled our bathroom and my husband and I didn't want to hang a big, bulky shower stall over our cute new shower door anymore. Well, like most women, I needed an extra shelf in the shower to store all of my stuff. After other suction cups and hooks failed in the shower, I didn't have high hopes for this product. My husband warned me that if this falls in the middle of the night and scares him to death, it will go in the bin. But this shower caddy actually stays in place - after a month of showering! The shelf is much larger than a standard corner shower shelf and can accommodate a bar of soap, two smaller shampoo bottles and a shower stool. I mounted the suction cups on porcelain stoneware with a matte finish. Maybe the suction cups don't stick to shiny tiles? Maybe the shelf won't hold up if you overload it with heavy objects? I cleaned the tiles first with hot soapy water and a microfiber cloth. After drying, I wiped the tile again with alcohol and a microfiber cloth. Then you have to press the suction cups very hard until you hear them stick (they make a popping sound when they stick). I then left the shelf overnight (8 hours or so) to "stick" before anyone took a shower. In general, the shelf doesn't hold much water due to its design, but I dry it out after a shower to prevent mold and mildew. I would highly recommend this product to anyone and am considering buying a second shelf for my other bathroom.
