My husband is a general contractor and often works in very hot houses all summer. He took a neck fan to work this week and really liked it. The batteries lasted all day and never bothered. He often comes home at the end of the day and runs straight into the shower (in dust and sweat). He actually came home and enjoyed dinner with his family before jumping in the shower! It doesn't have any long hairs to speak of, but the product is well covered so I suspect long hairs won't get caught in the fan. I will update my review if I find this to be an issue. A few days before our neck fan arrived we saw someone using them on a cross country flight and thought it was brilliant. We always feel like those tiny blowers don't provide good airflow in the economy seats. I look forward to trying this on my next flight!
