not for Canon

Nothing wrong with this device, actually it's a great price for what it is but. Canon communicates with the flashes through the center port. If you use the PC output with a Canon flash mounted on it, the flashes connected to the remote controls will fire when the flash sends data to the camera. If all you need is a hot shoe adapter, that's fine. If you're using a regular flash that doesn't "talk" to the camera, you're fine. When you receive yours, open it up and tighten the 3 screws holding the bottom hot shoe in place. As other people have said, it weakens and then makes your flash unstable.

Pros
  • This hot shoe adapter is ideal for attaching a flash unit without a sync connector for connection to a PC sync cable. This allows these cameras to trigger external flashes via the sync cord.
Cons
  • Very expensive
