I use it as a night light when all other lights are off and it does the job (not very bright as other reviews suggest but it's exactly what I wanted as I have enough lighting in my kitchen. I actually used a small piece of strong velcro on the back of each lamp to place them on the wall as they are made of very light plastic and won't damage my walls. This also allows me to periodically remove them from the wall and dust them off with ease. Very happy with my purchase.
