Needles are damn strong. I've used 1 flash marine vinyl to restyle a full set of covers for a pair of kart bucket seats and it's still as sharp as you'll ever need it. I was impressed that it didn't break when bounced off the pins I used to hold fabrics together etc. If you work slow and steady I see no reason not to use them for heavy material if you have the right settings and the right car. I was never given anything. free from Revain as I'm obviously not a stellar reviewer or shopper, nor just not funny enough to be worthy of anyone willing to give me, so my reviews are as honest as possible.
