I need an extra screen for about two hours a night. My husband and I love to watch TV in bed together, but we don't watch the same shows. I love using my laptop while watching Netflix, so my solution has always been to connect Netflix to my iPad with headphones while using my laptop. The problem is that I needed a bigger screen than my 9.7 inch iPad. I now connect this monitor to my laptop and it is the perfect solution. However, there are a few things about this model that make it far from ideal. The video streaming picture quality is very good and I have no complaints, but the sound quality is poor. Sounds very "tinny". , or bad sound quality from this monitor. Connecting the screen to a laptop is very convenient, especially when traveling. However, it's a bit clunky. The instructions say it works on screens up to 17.3", but that doesn't fit my 17" laptop. It fits my 15 inch laptop perfectly and will probably work up to a 16 inch. It has a USB-C port as well as a micro USB and mini HDMI.
