Just received this backpack in a small size for my five year old to use in kindergarten this fall. Shipped pretty quickly considering it's from China. The small size is perfect! My 5 year old is tall for his age and it fits well. The backpack has plenty of storage compartments, side pockets for water bottles, and the zippers and shoulder straps look solid. Time will tell how it holds up, but at first glance it looks sturdy. Edited to add: A year later and this backpack is still in such good condition my daughter uses it in first grade too. There are some (normal) signs of wear on the bottom at the seams, but no holes or tears. The zippers still slide easily and all the tabs are intact. I'm so impressed I bought my youngest the same backpack in a different color for her to use in preschool. I've added an image for reference. The pink backpack is over a year old, the purple one is brand new and unused. There is very little difference between them! Great product and great price!
