I have bought this brand for other devices in the past but wasn't sure as there were few reviews on it and the Ipad is relatively new. Before I bought this case, I bought another one from a different brand and it was TERRIBLE! It didn't fit my iPad at all and had small bumps that could potentially scratch my device. On the other hand, this case protects it, it's strong and seems to be durable. It's always in my backpack, not scratched a bit and won't turn on. Sleep works well, and if you endure it, it stays there. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a case. Apples are very expensive and break into corners after a few months. It's worth it!
