I have thick, straight, damp hair, but as with all Pureology products I've tried, I can use it with a slightly lighter hand than most other brands. It's difficult to measure accurately using my fingers, but I think I use about a third of an ounce (2 teaspoons total, or 1 teaspoon on each side of my head), whereas with most conditioners I need at least half an ounce ( 1 tablespoon). to do all my hair It has a more herbal flavor with hints of banana. It becomes smooth and softens my hair; When used after the Hydrate Sheer Shampoo (also silicone-free), my hair glides just as easily as with other silicone-based products, which I really wasn't expecting. Lately I've been mixing a scoop into my Madison Reed conditioner and enjoying the results. Soft and hydrated. While I wouldn't spend my budget just to fit in, if you're about to make the switch from drugstore products to something more expensive, I recommend Pureology as a brand to try. I've been really impressed with the quality of everything I've used so far and this is probably my favorite product from them.
