Very easy to install with a screwdriver. I recently bought similar rear window bumpers so I didn't check to see if there were instructions, but all you have to do to remove the old jamb is take a flat head screwdriver and stick it under the metal. Attach the old post to each connection point (one at a time is fine), lift about 1/8 inch or so and the post should pop out freely (a little twisting might help). Assembling this new stand is much the same, only in reverse: use a screwdriver to pry up the metal band at the connection point, then slide it over the spherical attachment point and allow the metal band to return to its original position. You may have to move it slightly to the side to put it back in the groove if you pry it open enough to slide a few mm up or down the post. and the hood looks like new, much better than balancing it on my head or using a curtain rod I carry around. walk around to keep it open.
