Review on πŸ“· Sony Cybershot DSCT300/B 10.1MP Digital Camera: Stunning Black Design with 5x Optical Zoom & Super Steady Shot by Tricia Butler

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great camera but remember the more megapixels the better the photos!

I'm a big fan of Sony's T series, I already have the very first DSC-T1, the discontinued T-33 and now the T-300. After DSC-T1 because I wanted to keep using my MS Pro Duos; but shortly after that I realized that Sony makes cameras that are not only great for photography but also make a statement (bring that baby to a party and you should know because 99% of parties would love to have her take home). Now that I have shared my reasons for purchasing this camera, here is my review, quick, simple and concise. Auto mode isn't perfect, especially if you're shooting indoors at night. You have to set the scene mode so that the camera actually flashes automatically. The program mode hasn't changed since the T-33, basically the same settings and if you know how to use it you'll get good shots. I prefer it with high sensitivity), it's a really fun tool. And the face recognition is amazing. Sony has really succeeded in this. But as I mentioned in the title of my review, more MP doesn't equal better quality. Once you start scaling the images, you'll notice some jagged edges, distortions, and slight inaccuracies in the colors; However, you will never notice this on an A3 print image. Again, this is an amateur camera, and you won't pay more than $1,000 for professional 10-megapixel cameras. So it's not fair to complain. Once you get used to the touchscreen controls, using it becomes a breeze. I could complain about asking for confirmation for almost everything, but I think the worst operating system known as Windows Vista already taught me that. Finally, a few recommendations: Buy the camera together with an LCD protective film and a Sony LCJTHC/B original. Leather case with stylus for DSC-T70 and DSC-T200 (black); if you want to keep it scratch-free from the start. And I recommend the large MS Pro Duo from 8 GB.
