From Craigslist. I bought it for $20. I'm using this connected to my old Compaq 2100 laptop running Windows XP in dual monitor mode. While I'm dying to get one of those newer 27-28" 16:9 widescreen models I'll eventually buy, this monitor does the trick. Fade in and out. If you're working with text documents, it's nice to have a document on your Being able to put a laptop and another on top of your Dell It has a good picture, easy to set up (just plug and play) Text reads well I like the adjustability I can rotate, swivel, tilt and lift the screen I like the 4 USB ports on the monitor as my laptop only has 2 USB ports I prefer 16:9 over this 5:4 but that doesn't matter I don't experience the hesitation that some others on other websites have mentioned. So far it's been very stable on my desk. When loading pages I get these weird horizontal lines that flash randomly for milliseconds. I'm thinking it could be the laptop's onboard video processor, not the monitor itself Testing the monitor with one of my other laptops. It looks a bit dated as this model came out 5 years ago. However, I couldn't avoid this deal.
