I bought this printer in 2009 before college and gosh I loved it! I still love him and I plan to take him to grad school. I'm sure this printer has stuttered and stalled several times over the past 5 years. but for the most part my impression of my printer is positive. I bought it for less than $100 so I think I got it at a bargain price. I think the price has gone up. This printer isn't the fastest, but it did its job. You have to manually manipulate the paper and print settings to get duplex printing (which I got wrong a couple of times). Print quality was good enough for essays and lecture notes with pictures. I'm too cheap to use expensive ink to print photos with it, but I'm sure people liked its purpose. It's loud when typing. So if you live in a tiny 3-person dorm like I did my freshman year, the nightly typing would be a little rough. I love this printer and hope to continue using it!
