I've been thinking about buying a mass airflow sensor for over two years. However, I've read so many conflicting reviews that I've held off until now. My 2012 Mustang has a few modifications such as: There seemed to be small jumps when depressing and holding the throttle past 3/4. My engine required more airflow to meet the needs of my modifications. In fact, the stock sensor held back momentum. This mass air flow sensor was designed to improve that airflow requirement - and it did on my car. The revs are now fast and sharp, no jumps were noticed. However, if your engine is stock and there is no real need for more airflow through modifications, a stock air sensor is probably all you need.
