Nothing like that!

All functions work as advertised, making this truly the most versatile and easy-to-use microphone. I use it with my iPad Pro directly in GarageBand via the USB-C port and it works great. In addition, the sound quality is fantastic and easy to adjust thanks to all the control knobs. Additional note for those planning to use it with an iPad: One weird thing I've come across is that the "volume" slider doesn't work well with iOS (iPad). . The iPad does not recognize the microphone as a suitable headphone amplifier/interface and does not know what to do with it. You can adjust the volume with the knob, but if you touch the volume directly on the iPad, the volume will be overwritten according to your setting on the iPad. It still works, but I almost numbed myself by turning up the volume on the mic and then adjusting the volume via the iPad, only to have it jump a few notches too loud. Typically, when a headphone amp/audio interface is connected to an iPad, it disables the volume controls on the iPad and relies solely on the interface for adjustments. That's not the case here, so the volume controls compete with each other and are out of sync. I would advise you to always control the volume directly from the iPad and forget about the built-in volume control when listening through headphones. All in all, everything works and sounds great, and there's literally nothing out there with similar features. Very unique!
