Really projects your voice. Great for music too.

These days when you're housebound it's important to have a microphone that can reproduce your sound clearly. I've worked from home a lot for a long time (even until recently) and couldn't speak up on a conference call. I was mostly ignored. What difference does this microphone make? I used the included Ableton software to get the level right (high enough to pick up my voice but low enough not to pick up too many extra clicks and pops - yes it's that sensitive) and then left the level unchanged…

Nothing like that!

All functions work as advertised, making this truly the most versatile and easy-to-use microphone. I use it with my iPad Pro directly in GarageBand via the USB-C port and it works great. In addition, the sound quality is fantastic and easy to adjust thanks to all the control knobs. Additional note for those planning to use it with an iPad: One weird thing I've come across is that the "volume" slider doesn't work well with iOS (iPad). . The iPad does not recognize the microphone as a suitable…

Exactly what I was looking for!

I am very happy with this microphone. When I decided to buy a USB mic to play virtual D&D during the pandemic, I first wanted one that I could use for non-professional music recording as I play multiple instruments and sing. I no longer have my old setup of condenser mics, XLR cables, phantom powered mixer, etc., but I knew I needed something that would deliver good USB quality and work well with my MacBook, t.to. like any other device I want to use it with. Having worked at Guitar Center for…

UPDATED 05/01/2020 Well you can see my pros and cons of this mic. Yesterday I ordered Blue Yeti. This should tell you where I stand on this. Additional notes and now comparisons. I also have an AKG2020+USB which sounds great but I was dying to adjust the gain and the AKG doesn't have it nor does it have a good way of sitting on a table which I found without a tripod. takes up too much space. Due to the design of the tripod adapter, the weight is inherently unbalanced. But it's a very good…
