For years I suffered from frozen food freezing in ice because I didn't use it fast enough. The ability to vacuum seal these items prevents them from freezing and drying out. I found that I vacuumed everything in the freezer. After I was done, I was amazed at how much space was freed up by removing unnecessary packaging and air. I cut out the platter with the product description and cooking instructions and put them in bags so I know what they are and how to cook them. The manufacturer really missed the opportunity as I couldn't find a way to order more of their bags and instead ordered more bags from a third party.
