Doesn't get rid of the white powder, but definitely shortens the cleaning time of my humidifier
During the winter I have two high power ultrasonic humidifiers that run 24/7 for my many house plants. This product basically does what it says on the tin: reduce hard water deposits on the heating element and humidifier components. The demineralization pads also last a few days longer than before. I've read other reviews where people complain that using tap water instead of distilled water doesn't solve the white powder problem that ultrasonic humidifiers have. In his own defense, he never promises to cure this problem.
