Review on 🧀 The Ultimate Exfoliating Experience: The Original Kessa Hammam Scrubbing Glove by Ebony Brown

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Mediocre. Not the original Kise.

I would give 4 stars. That's a good kiss. But it's not as hardcore or of good quality as the original Persian Kiseh and therefore not as deep as I'm used to. So I'm deducting two stars. After washing in warm water, I dried off and a lot of "chirk" (Persian word for dead skin cells) fell off. It serves its purpose to a certain extent, but loses its "purity" after a while. The real kiseh is thicker than this thin, thin copy and can last for years with proper care. Fun historical fact: It appeared and has been used in Persian and Turkish baths for centuries to reveal the beautiful skin beneath. The word kiseh itself, pronounced "KEE-SEH", is a Persian word referring to a "sack" or cloth-like material that can be carried like a bag. It's hard to find real kiseh, so this is pretty close to what works. But then again, if you're used to the real deal, you might not feel as clean as you do with Sefidab (a powdered tablet used as soap) and real Kise. If this is your first time, you should try it. The scrub is also good for sensitive skin. This is a good replica of Kise to start your body scrub journey with. * The photo I have attached does not show my body, it is the advertised photo of the company. Unfortunately I gave up on Kiseh because it stopped working after a month or two. But when it worked, the results matched the image I posted very closely. This is only to show an accurate picture of what your results might look like.
