Review on Canon Selphy CP1000 sublimation printer, color. A6, white by Micha wierczewski ᠌

A good product, more pros than cons.

At the very beginning, having read rave reviews about the 820 model, I expected the same effect. But no! The print quality didn't work for me. It turns out that the photographs need to lie down a little and look at them again. Really the quality is not bad. But not great. Bought to print photos at a banquet at a wedding. Have not checked in the case yet. When I check, I'll try to post here. Attention! Who had problems with printing photos from flash drives and after processing . they wrote that the printer does not see them. It's all . Upload the photos with the original name and in the same folder (100EOS5D) from where you took them first. And the printer reads and prints them without problems. Furthermore! There is an original software that comes with a fotik in the kit. Duck, through these two programs you can even print RAW. It's all poorly implemented. The program swears, says that you need to create a JPEG, agree with this and go ahead! The photo pops up.

Pros
  • Very compact. It is smaller than Mark 3 + 50mm/1.4 This little one can really print good photos! Fast Print! Lamination! Moisture protection. Canon offers a 100 year fading guarantee. The cartridges will not dry out. Because they don't exist! Here is paper and a thermal cette with film. It is easy to change to a new one. And one of them is enough for about 30 photos.
Cons
  • There are no settings in color management. And yes, everything is by default. This is the model for the WOW effect. To quickly take pictures and all. If you want accuracy and all that - do not buy compact printers of this brand. I set the exposure to +33 in lightroom to get normal lighting. But this may be a problem only with my laptop + printer. At the moment, the cost of photography is almost 30. (((
