As a pediatric occupational therapist, I specialize in developing fine motor skills such as handwriting. These pins are strong and even my older children can't break them even if they try (many children with developmental problems have emotional or behavioral problems). The tips can be chewed off, but won't fall off if your child presses down hard like traditional stylus pens do. The wide and skinny swim trunks are a great transition from toddler to older child. Ideal for developing pencil precision and writing preparation skills. I highly recommend using them with applications like Write Wizard or iTrace.
