Review on 2Pcs 15Ft Morning Glory Artificial Vines - Perfect For Outdoor Wedding Hanging Baskets Decor! by Adam Cooper

Decent, but don't expect too much

If you're hoping for a high quality reproduction of a Morning Glory vine then this isn't it, but it still offers plenty of utility in the right circumstances. Let me use an analogy to make my point: You wouldn't buy inexpensive costume jewelry and expect to get HQ repro's of expensive gems that fool people; likewise you shouldn't buy a $16 faux plant on Ebay and expect it to pass scrutiny as the real thing. But what you get is an imitation that in the right circumstances can provide a tasteful and useful function. We put ours on a trellis that backdrops a 3 ft statue way back in our yard. The trellis was too dark and didn't show, but with these faux flowers it pops, and it makes a nice background for the statue. We would also consider wrapping them around the deck railings too as a pleasing decoration when company comes. The fact that most might know they're fake would not detract at all from their desired effect. There are plenty of instances where we WOULDN'T want to use them, but there are plenty where we would, too. It's just a matter of finding the right place at the right time.

Pros
  • Beautiful flowers! Looks realistic in my flower bed.
Cons
  • The artificial vines may not provide the same habitat for birds and other wildlife as real vines
