Review on 🪑 Steelcase Turnstone Buoy in Wasabi Fabric, White by Dipp Samrock

I use this as my main office chair and some days I sit for long hours. For me, this works much better than the balance ball, which I also tried. It swivels easily from side to side and naturally wobbles ("rocks") in all directions, allowing me to change the angle of the seat from time to time or even constantly move/rock while working. This keeps my back flexible and my circulation going. It's easy to slide a little on the carpeted floor to move closer or farther from my desk, or left and right, as needed. The pneumatic height adjustment has a good range typical of an office chair and feels solid and smooth (as you'd expect from Steelcase). It's also a little springy so when you sit down it springs up a bit, which also reduces strain. This is an attractive, minimalist, modern design. The only disadvantage or limitation is that the seat cushion itself is a bit thin. I put a folded cotton meditation mat on top, because if I sit on a chair cushion for several hours, my sit bones start to hurt. While the air jack has some resilience, the top of the seat or cushion itself would benefit from some added resiliency. Adding a meditation mat is an acceptable workaround to me given the benefits and quality of this "rocking chair", but it detracts a bit from the classy aesthetic of the chair.
