Review on ๐Ÿ’ฐ Aluminum Wallet Money Pocket - Minimalist and SEO-friendly by Juan Harrington

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very good value for money, light weight and plenty of room for cards/ID

I was looking for my first foray into a minimalist wallet as I hate carrying around a bulky tri fold bag, especially if I'm into outdoor activities. I first decided on the type of design I wanted - I decided I liked the Ridge-style two-piece design with an elasticated carbon fiber or metal band. I bought several brands. Of course he looked at Ridge. Dark blue aluminum, burned titanium and forged carbon looked great. But the price was a little hard to swallow as I wasn't sure I would like this design in practice. I also looked at Armor Supply and Savage Spartan. Then I came across this one. $20 for carbon fiber with extra screws and screwdrivers seemed like a lot. I have to say this wallet looks pretty good for the money. The carbon fiber outer panels look nice, they're lightweight, and I was able to easily fit up to 9 cards in them. I usually only have 2 credit cards plus a health insurance card, a DL card and a CCW card so it works great. With a little practice, I found that removing the cards was easy and just as easy to put back in. A few minor bugs resulting in 4 stars versus 5. The rubber strap doesn't seem to be of the best quality from my initial observations. Also, the edges of the carbon fiber outer panels feel a bit rough in places, and a smoother beveled edge would have looked more stylish. But these shortcomings are understandable given the low price. All in all a good deal and I'm happy so far. Now that I approve of the design in everyday use, I could upgrade to a prettier metal wallet like the Ridge, but that's more than enough for now, and for some it might be all they need.
