My foot is "pre-wetted", these towels are so dry. I tried anyway and they *didn't* clean my glasses. When I held my glasses up to the light to check for any remaining stains, I noticed a lot of tiny scratches. Not deep, but like drying your black car with the wrong towel. I've only had these glasses for a few months and they sit on my face or on my bedside table and I just clean them with the cloth that came with them. Now they look like they've been trampled on the bottom of an abandoned wallet for a year. I'm returning them and buying the ones I used to get from CVS, which are actually wet. I do not recommend!
