UPDATE 8-5-18 Used it 2 times on a camping trip. Open it once and close it every time. The second time, he began to slip and expose himself. I knew it was plastic and tried to protect it by carefully turning it over and not opening it. Why plastic gears? The part it connects to has metal gears, so that's what it should be. It's a waste. I was supposed to make a first silicone pen, but I wanted to avoid that. If there is no other choice, I will do it anyway. ---Original---Bought a used liner and the fan handle was torn off. It was the right replacement. I've been trying to find one with a metal bar because I believe it will be detachable as well, but that's about all that's available. Let's see how long this lasts.
