Ideal for washing dishes and cleaning coated pans without scratching. Rinse and done. I just hope they survive being washed in the dishwasher when I have to wash them. We will see. I don't like washing kitchen sponges in the washing machine. They tend to raise hair and then I won't use them for the dishes anymore.
