I bought it for several reasons. It's reasonably priced, it's small, I like the look and was told I could hook up a CD changer to it. I've been listening to my albums for a while and I just love the sound. I finally hooked up my CD changer the other day and at first I couldn't get any sound out of the player. When I waved my hand before listening to an album, I could hear my CD playing with the CD changer on. I have found that the player needs to be rotated for the sound to work. At first I was worried about damaging the stylus, but I realized I just had to carefully place the stylus on the base of the turntable body (right next to the stylus rest) and I've been listening to my CDs ever since. It's nice to finally be able to hear my music again after my last stereo died inside me.
