I bought two packs to save money and I washed my pillow and cover so I started over. When I was about to put it on, two things immediately struck me. 1) Lightning is CHEAP. It was very difficult to close and I was afraid it would break the first time I used it. 2) The opening is much smaller than the standard pillow, making it difficult to insert the pillow. Do your best to zip up the above cheap zipper. I pressed the pillow while holding the two sides tightly together so I could close it. On the plus side, it's an aesthetically pleasing case that's soft and comfortable. Can't say much about long term use yet as I've only been using it for a few nights at the moment but will try to update my review when I have it longer. Update: First Review September 2018. Today is May 2019. I've included a picture that captures as best as I can how small the cover is compared to a standard pillow. I support everything. The zipper is still very cheap and after this period of use my pillow was so stuck it wouldn't recover its shape and clumped for months. The good news is my pillow comes out very clean and smells clean. So I suggest ordering a larger size and maybe that will help if you don't mind the zipper. The lid also had no noticeable effect on the temperature. It wasn't hot to sleep.
