Review on Everki Advance Laptop Bag EKB407NCH17 by Santiago Serrano

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Don't be fooled by its subtle appearance, this bag can hold a lot

This bag can hold a lot. It fits the Acer Predator 17.3 inch laptop (PH517), which is about the same size as the 17 inch Alianware R4. This bag has adequate padding on all sides including the bottom. What I like about Everki is their quality. I've been using one of their backpacks for 5 years, my laptop still looks new and has always been protected. I travel for work and have carried this thing (literally) all over the world. Since I wear this to work, I needed a shoulder bag that looked more professional than a backpack. This bag is just the thing. The main compartment only fits a laptop. The expandable front pocket can accommodate 1 iPad in a case, 1 small flashlight, wallet and bulky headphone (David Clark One-X), bulky sunglasses case and other small items. The laptop stays well-protected only in the central compartment, while all the items you normally use fit in the front pocket, leaving plenty of room for storage. There also seems to be enough clearance between the laptop and the top zippers. The double zips and material appear to be of excellent quality. I have tried 2 other cheaper cases on Amazon and they are complete rubbish (Ytonet and Volher). Also, I had to pad the bottom of the other cases. Also, they were too wide to pull down the air islands on the suitcase. Another great thing about this bag is the strap on the handle of the suitcase. It's just the right width to stay stable on the suitcase handle, unlike others that are too wide and too loose on the suitcase. This one is spot on.

Pros
