Defective vinyl and tool marks

The vinyl is peeling on one edge causing it to peel off and no longer protect the shield base. There are tool marks next to the holes like someone drilled in the wrong place almost 2 times, many other vinyl imperfections that are subtle but noticeable. I bought this for my son (4 years old) as he has developed a fondness for stop signs lately. He is very picky and quickly got upset when his "broken" sign arrived. I want to correct this as I believe these shortcomings are unacceptable for a new product. I honestly give 3 stars for a faulty product.
