I wouldn't recommend it given the price. The pieces are very small. I got it for my daughter's 1st birthday. She is a medium sized 1 year old and this set seems more suitable for a baby no older than 10 months who is crawling and just learning to walk. If you have an inquisitive, busy walker like me, he'll just take the pieces apart and push them against other furniture or things to climb on/get into things they're not supposed to be. She doesn't really show much interest in it, and I was disappointed to see that part of the "tunnel" is so small that you can't even put a roll of paper towels under it without lifting off the ground. I chose this set mainly because I thought my daughter would get underneath. If your heart is really set on one of these for your little one, you will need to spend a lot of money to find one that will actually be used.
