I'm used to wearing Sperry's, one of my favorite brands, it's my everyday hiking shoe. This time, however, I chose the Sebago brand. I find the styling and comfort of the Sebago to be exactly the same as the Sperry which means I'm very happy with my Sebago purchase. Minor downside: After putting the shoe on and wearing it for a few minutes, I noticed a sharp artifact. bump into the side of my leg. It turned out that one of the seams in the left shoe (next to the pinky toe) was secured with some kind of glue that hardened and turned into a small spike. was able to remove that little extra ball of "glue" or whatever is used at the end of the stitch. This can be an issue for some but I'm used to working with my hands so I found this to be a minor issue.
