My baby rarely takes this

I'm not sure if it's the pacifier itself or my baby's preferences, but my newborn (now one month) has only taken this paci on a handful of occasions. It does seem well sized for a newborn. We offer it to her and she appears to gag on it and refuses it almost every time.
